The area in between the Alcazar de Sevilla (to the south) and the Setas de Sevilla (to the north) is the sweet spot. If you are staying there, you should be able to reach almost everything in a 15-20 minute walk.

The H10 Casa de la Plata is a modern 4-star hotel conveniently located in a lively area of Seville’s historic center. Most of the city’s main attractions, such as the cathedral, the Setas de Sevilla and Casa de Pilatos are less than 10 min walk away. There are also a lot of shops, bars and restaurants in the surroundings.
The H10 Casa de la Plata features a very stylish décor all throughout. The rooms are elegant, quiet and spacious. They have bright yellow window frames and decorative wall moldings with inlays of beautiful local tiles. This is all contrasted by the bathrooms that are styled in black and white.
There is also a beautiful inner courtyard with a large water feature which can be the perfect place to sit down and enjoy a drink after a long day sightseeing.
Guests of the H10 praise the comfortable beds and the attention to detail everywhere. Apart from double and triple rooms, there are family rooms for up to 2 adults and 2 children.
La Puerta de Palacio features an unbeatable location, just steps away from both Seville’s Alcazar and cathedral. In addition, the prices are incredible, especially taking into consideration its superb location and the quality of the rooms. However, if you have kids then look further, as this hotel is for adults only.
The hotel features contemporary interior décor in a traditional building. The rooms are cosy with exposed brick and stone walls. Some rooms have a balcony. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop terrace.
If you are getting to the city by car, expect to pay around 21 €/day in the nearby public parking.
La Puerta de Palacio offers an outstanding value for the money at an excellent location. For that reason, we think it’s one of the best hotels in Seville.
Towering over Plaza de la Encarnación is the massive modern wooden structure known as the Setas (mushrooms). This avant-garde construction is one of our favorite places to visit in Seville.
If you like it as much as we do, then you might want to stay in the Hotel Casa de Indias where you can enjoy direct views from the rooms or the rooftop terrace. On the rooftop you will find a pool with a sundeck and bar area – a great place to unwind.
The decor of the hotel combines many elements from the historic building its housed in, such as large wooden beams and exposed brick, together with clean minimal design.
Also, keep in mind that if you are booking in the winter or summer months, you can usually get a great deal at Casa de Indias. For all these reasons, this accommodation has made it into our list of the best hotels in Seville.
Although this hotel doesn’t have its own parking, they offer a discounted rate at a nearby parking. Expect to pay around 22 €/day.
Hotel Rey Alfonso X is a solid choice in the middle of the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood. The decor is modern and classy with marble flooring throughout. The highlight is the rooftop where you will find a pool and plenty of sun-beds with bar service.
The views from the top encompass several church bell towers, including the Giralda, as well as views down several quaint streets of the barrio.
The hotel Rey Alfonso X has its own parking. The price is 22 €/day.
The Petit Palace Puerta de Triana is a 3-star hotel located in Seville’s historic center, just 10 min walk away from the cathedral and very close to the Guadalquivir river and the bullring. The prices are incredibly affordable – this hotel truly offers a lot for the money.
It occupies a beautifully restored historic building. Its modern interior decor is colorful with Andalusian influences. This hotel also has quadruple rooms available for up to 4 adults which can be perfect for families with children and groups of friends.
The Petit Palace chain has several more superb hotels in Seville’s historic center, such as the Petit Palace Santa Cruz, Petit Palace Canalejas and Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana. They all offer a great quality price ratio and are highly recommendable.
The Soho Boutique Seville is a sophisticated 3-star hotel with old world charm. It occupies a restored palace in Seville’s center, right next to the modern Metropol Parasol (Setas).
This charming accommodation features elegant decor throughout with gorgeous marble and wooden herringbone floors. There is also a classy traditional Andalusian patio and a rooftop terrace with a small pool.
The nearby public parking costs 25 €/day.
We love, love, love the Hotel One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejón 09! It is located just a little bit north of many of Seville’s main sights, but still within the historic old town.
This area of town is less touristy than others such as the Santa Cruz neighborhood but it still has an authentic local vibe with great bars and restaurants nearby in an area known as the Alameda de Hercules. So depending on what you are looking for, you might even prefer this spot.
With that said, since it isn’t smack in the middle of touristlandia, the prices are amazing. This is for sure one of the city’s most stylish hotels that just oozes with cool. The rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off on hot Seville days.
The hotel’s restaurant, lalola, is worth a visit even if you don’t choose to stay there. It was recently rated as the best restaurant for creative gastronomy in Seville by the Gurmé awards.
This hotel also has its own parking which costs 25€/day.
For all these reasons, the One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejón 09 is one of the best hotels in Seville.
Located in the popular Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Hotel Fernando III is very similar to Hotel Rey Alfonso X which is just a few steps away. It too has a rooftop pool and bar and the views of the surrounding is almost the same as well. However, the decor is slightly more traditional at Fernando III.
This accommodation also offers one, two and three bedroom apartments for up to 6 adults. The hotel’s private parking costs 22 €/day.
All in all, this is another great hotel for those looking for a hotel with a pool close to the sights.
The Hotel Melia Sevilla is located just outside of the historic center but it’s still only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and alcazar. It’s even closer to the Plaza de España and has direct views to it from many of the rooms and the pool.
The rooms are comfortable, although they look somewhat dated when compared to the sleek new common areas. This hotels does have a lot of amenities and one of Seville’s largest pools.
Since the hotel is not in the middle of the old town, it does have a different vibe. But on the other side, it is just a few minutes walk away. And when you compare prices, the Melia really offers a lot for the money.
This hotel also has its own parking, which costs 20 €/day.
Overall, we consider the Melia one of the best hotels in Seville.
Hotel Amadeus really has it all – great location (Santa Cruz neighborhood), charming rooms and a fantastic rooftop terrace complete with a plunge pool and jacuzzi. And if you are visiting in colder months, you can still use the pool since it is heated all year round!
There is a variety of different rooms to choose from – some more modern in styling and others that have preserved different elements from the historic building such as tiles or exposed brick. The largest rooms can accommodate up to 4 adults. Some rooms even have private terraces and others their own jacuzzi tubs.
