The Hotel Cetina Murcia is our favorite accommodation in the city. It’s located in the middle of the historic center, just steps away from the Real Casino and a 3 min walk away from the cathedral.

It features stylish modern décor that uses bold colors in the common areas, such as the bright yellow walls and golden/black accents in the lobby. The rooms are minimal and free of clutter. They are also quiet and feature big comfy beds.

The superior double rooms have a maximum capacity of 3 adults and 1 child.

Public parking is available nearby for 17€/day.

The Cetina Murcia offers great value for the money and is, in our opinion, one of the best hotels in Murcia.

The Hotel Murcia Rincón de Pepe is located right in the very heart of the historic center. The cathedral is just around the corner as well as a new gastronomy market called “Mercado de Correos.”

This hotel features large rooms thoughtfully designed in contemporary style with extra comfortable beds. In addition to single, double and triple rooms, it also has family rooms for up to 2 adults and 2 children.

There are two restaurants on site. Rincón de Pepe offers classic Spanish cuisine while La Barra del Rincón is more informal and specializes in tapas. We really love the fantastic outdoor dining area of La Barra. There is also a cocktail bar called La Muralla.

The Occidental Murcia Siete Coronas is a 4 star hotel located on the banks of the Segura river, just 7min walk away from the cathedral.

The rooms are spacious and elegant. All of them have a minibar and a safe. Guests especially love the big comfortable beds.

There is also a café-bar on site and parking is available for 17€/day.

The Hesperia Murcia Centro is another great 3 star hotel in the very center of Murcia, just 3 min walk away from the cathedral.

It features clean modern design in light tones all around, from the lobby to the rooms. Guests like particularly the spacious rooms and the comfortable beds.

The NH Amistad de Murcia is a 4 star hotel situated just north of the historic center (13 min walk from the cathedral).

The rooms feature elegant design with wooden floors and large floor-to-ceiling windows. They are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Noise won’t be an issue either, since all of them face onto a quiet side street.

However, that doesn’t mean that the hotel is far from amenities or services. On the contrary, next to the hotel is the large department store “El Corte Inglés” as well as a variety of shops (Zara, Massimo Dutti, etc.) and other businesses.

Parking is available on site for 24.20€/day, making it one of the most expensive hotel parkings in the city center.

The Catalonia Conde de Floridablanca is a 4 star hotel situated south of the Segura river. The historic center, however, is just a short walk away. For example, you can get to the cathedral in 7 min.

The modern rooms are spacious and feature comfortable beds. All of them have a minibar and a safe. Some rooms have a large terrace with sunbeds. There are also triple rooms, ideal for families with one kid.
