Renfe offers three daily options to get from Granada to Ronda. However, they all require going by bus from Granada to Antequera. The trip then continues by train from Antequera to Ronda. The total journey takes around 3 h. One ticket costs 21€.
Granada’s train station, also known as Estación de Andaluces, is located about 1km north of the old town. To get an idea, it is about an 18 min walk to the Granada Cathedral.

Ronda’s train station is located 1km (0.6 miles) north of the New Bridge.
There aren’t any direct buses between Granada and Ronda. From Granada, you will first need to take a bus to Malaga. Buses between Malaga and Granada are run by Alsa.
There is about one bus per hour throughout the day, with the trip lasting between 1:30h and 2:30h. The ticket price ranges from 5.50 to 14 €. For more information, check out our page how to get from Granada to Malaga.
In Malaga, you will need to catch another bus to get to Ronda. There are two companies offering this service, Damas and Avanzabus. In total, there are about 11 daily buses and the trip takes between 2 and 3h. You can expect to pay around 12 - 15 €.
In total, the trip by bus from Granada to Ronda will take anywhere between 5 and 7h.
Granada’s bus station is located 2.5km north of the old town. For example, it is a 40 min walk to the cathedral. The local city bus lines 21 and 33 connect the city center (bus stop at Gran Vía 14) with the bus station.
If you want to get to the Alhambra, you should take one of those buses and get off at the end of Gran Vía (right next to the cathedral). From there, walk to Plaza Isabel la Católica (2 min walk) to take the bus to the Alhambra (lines C30 or C32). The total trip takes about 40 minutes.
